Nearly one fifth of French employees telework at least one day a week. Less time spent in transport, less stress, more flexibility in working hours: the advantages are countless, both for the employer and the employee.

A practice that everyone agrees with

It is difficult to find critics of telework. And for good reason, both employers and employees benefit from it. For the employer, telework leads to a reduction of the company's operational costs (electricity, heating, space to be fitted out). For the employer, telecommuting leads to a reduction of the company's operational costs (electricity, heating, space to be fitted out) but also to a reduction of absenteeism due to external events (such as traffic jams).

The employee will tend to be more productive, because working in a comfortable, personalized and quiet space, and not an open space: the coworking spaces of Boulogne-Billancourt offer an optimal comfort. He will also spend less time in transportation, which is a double advantage: saving time and reducing stress. Finally, he organizes his schedule in his own way, to be more efficient.

Telecommuting is at home, but not only!

Telecommuting has been legally regulated since 2012 in France. This practice of working from home using your computer and smartphone, one or more days a week, is becoming increasingly popular. Finding and setting up a coworking space in Toulouse is very quick and comfortable.

When we think about telecommuting, we instantly imagine working from home. But this concerns only 2/3 of the cases. About 1/5 of the people benefit from the advantages of teleworking in a private office provided by their company, when the rest use a coworking space in Paris 9 or the proximity networks (source DR Kronos).

Teleworking in a coworking space: a productivity boost

Several teleworkers can meet in a coworking space (like the coworking spaces in Nantes) and exchange on their respective activities in a relaxed and open atmosphere. It is an excellent way for the employee to broaden his knowledge in his field and to be more creative.

Is teleworking good for your health?

While teleworking has long been praised for its benefits in terms of freedom and comfort, it also has its downsides: isolation, sedentariness, confusion of life times. In this context, a new habit is gaining ground: working in flexible spaces, in other words, third places, coworking or shared offices, accessible by the day or on an à la carte basis.
