Volumes Rue Compans - Paris 19

Volumes is a collaborative, productive and creative workspace, which has become a crossroads for economic, institutional and academic communities and actors; a laboratory for experimentation on transdisciplinarity and new ways of working; a project gas pedal and a companion to social change.
Volumes is structured around three specific poles:

• A coworking space that can accommodate about fifty coworkers, but also different types of training, seminars, conferences...
• A digital manufacturing space - fablab type, including a large format digital milling machine, a laser cutter and a dozen multi-format and multi-material 3D printers.
• A space for culinary innovation: the Foodlab, which offers a professional kitchen and a shared bistro space.

The project, led by a community of transdisciplinary designers, welcomes freelancers, startups and associations working in fields as varied as architecture, design and manufacturing, cooking, journalism, computer development, insertion, teaching, video production...

This diversity generates positive synergies and encourages the emergence of projects requiring multiple skills. These dynamics offer the possibility to small independent structures to have access to larger and more rewarding markets.
