When renowned architect Peter Foggo first designed 1FA in 1984, his vision for a public street running right through the middle of the ground floor, blurring the lines between public and private, business and leisure.
With their redesign, Stirling Prize-winning architects AHMM stayed true to Peter’s vision, with a public atrium with café, restaurants and even an Everyman Cinema. While the industrial, warehouse-style interiors have been transformed into a riot of colour and pattern by celebrated artist Morag Myerscough.
Upstairs, in the Storey spaces, there are all kinds of shared spaces tucked in the nooks and crannies on every floor where you can meet, work and relax – bookable meeting rooms, private working booths, breakout areas. And on the top floor, there’s a 3,000 sq ft roof terrace, with panoramic views over the City.
