Back in 2017 The Business Xchange Hub opened its doors as a meanwhile use project, dipping its toe into the co-working and serviced office market with 12000 sq ft of space.
With a slow start, things started to turn around. With the arrival of a new team, their experience in both the field of meetings and events coupled with the office market bought a new vision and a new future for the business.
Bespoke offices, meeting rooms, therapy rooms, a hairdresser and smaller, private co-working areas were born, and the business expanded to 27000 sq ft of diverse businesses, with a great community and excellent reputation.
We survived the covid 19 outbreak, by supporting our members with grant applications, downsizing where needed and subsidising rents to encourage small businesses to step back out into an uncertain world again. In 2023 the building was sold, and it was time for a decision.
We opened our doors in October 2023, (with a few snagging areas!) moved continuing members across from the old site and are proud to say we reached full capacity in March 2024.
We are now embarking on another 10,000 sq ft refurbishment to accommodate our waiting list and open up our world of working to more new members.
