DasProvisorium was founded by Fred Schaerlig, Sven Friese and Tobias Zihlmann in 2016.
There was an urgent need for a place where people who deal with the topics of nutrition, food and sustainability on a daily basis could come together.
The result was a creative place for like-minded people at Lessingstrasse 15 with an open door for visitors, interested parties, supporters and anyone else who wants to work towards a better food system.
Since 2018, DasProvisorium has also been an association dedicated to promoting this great place and our community.
The association consists of 7 board members, all co-workers (who are automatically members) and external members such as friends and supporters.
Since the beginning of 2018, DasProvisorium has been at home in the premises of the former Buchmann confectionery and bakery in Binz as an interim use.
Here we combine co-working space with food production. Every day, busy thinkers and doers come together - some sit at their laptops, others produce chocolate, roast coffee, prepare for the next event or experiment with fermented foods.
