The C3 Space was born from a BIP/ZIP project (promoted by the Lisbon City Council) and the dialogue with the existing community in the territory, with the support of a consortium formed by the following entities:

• Living Better in Blessed Residents Association, ArqCoop, Aga Khan Foundation, J. F. do Beato and Santa Casa da Misericordia de Lisboa.
• The Parish Council of Beato was responsible for additional funding, essential for the project to be carried out.
• The main objective is to create synergies between the residents and the other users of the space.
• The profits go to the community in the form of community projects, which always start from the dialogue with the people who live in the neighborhoods in which the European Intercultural Club operates.
