The Roxy in Berlin was built as a movie theater in 1928 in the New Objectivity style. "Andreas Hofer" was the first silent film to be shown there.
The writer Uwe Johnson rented a room above the Roxy Palast from 1968 to 1974, where he wrote most of the pages of his work "Anniversaries". After the cinema closed, the La Belle discotheque opened its dance floor in the Palast.
Sadly, three American soldiers were killed in a bomb attack there in 1986.
What do we do at the Roxy Palast? Above all, new non-objectivity in the form of coworking and flex offices.
