Pooling knowledge - finding synergies - promoting cooperation

The seven partners followed these three principles when founding the Haus des Holzes and have thus created a new center for networking in the timber industry in the heart of political Berlin. The result is an optimal framework for the joint representation of interests.

A wide variety of materials from the timber industry - and above all different types of wood - were used in the furnishings.

Even the electricity comes from renewable energies.
In addition to the choice of materials, the wish list also included an office concept that was as flexible as possible: On- and offline meetings, group and quiet workstations, opportunities to meet and retreat.

The Haus des Holzes is also fully air-conditioned.
