New developments in the coworking market! Industrious, the flexible workspace operator, will open its largest workspace in the world at 32 rue du Colisée in Paris in January 2023. This confirms the appeal of the French coworking market to businesses, and its determination to conquer the European market. It's in the heart of Paris's Central Business District (CBD) that Industrious delivers its first coworking and serviced office spaces, halfway between the Champs Elysées and Avenue Franklin Roosevelt. The 8-storey building, most of which is already occupied by well-known companies, offers no less than 7,200 m² of secure, serviced workspaces. Our teams set out to discover this unusual location. Take a guided tour!

A remarkable arrival to the coworking market

Boosted by the boom in telecommuting and the reinvention of work modes and spaces, coworking has been booming for several years now. With growth expected to reach 20% by 2022 according to Cushman & Wakefield, the coworking market is confirming its strength and appeal to companies increasingly attracted by this promise of flexibility. Growth of up to +27% for the 4 main players in the sector - IWG, WeWork, Morning and Wojo - is helping to attract new operators keen to take part in this juicy market.

This is confirmed by the latest study from the Xerfi institute, which predicts a positive dynamic for these spaces, with around +10% growth for 2023 and 2024. While Paris and the Ile-de-France region remain among the preferred destinations for coworking operators (currently accounting for 34% of France's 2,800 coworking spaces), development intentions are turning towards the regions, led by Lyon, Aix, Marseille, Lille and Bordeaux. However, Strasbourg, Toulouse and Rennes also appear to be the next cities in Lea's sights.

A dynamic market, which continues to attract new operators. Following the example of Now Coworking, which is already established but aims to open 15 additional regional offices byOr new entrants such as Comet Meetings, Bouygues and, more recently, the American behemoth Industrious. Operations that mark the return in force of the coworking giants!

Industrious registers its commitment to European expansion in Paris

With a presence in over 65 cities in the United States and nearly 150 flexible workspaces, Industrious is no newcomer. The company's recent acquisition of Welkin & Meraki last May was already a sign of its determination to expand in Europe. Jamie Hodari, CEO and Co-Founder of Industrious confirmed his ambitions, explaining to the columns of InfoBuroMag "We look forward to expanding our offering globally to better support working models, while maintaining our commitment to the highest customer satisfaction in the industry." before being completed by Alain Brossé, in charge of Industrious' European section "As part of our global expansion, it was essential to establish ourselves in key European markets to meet the growing demand for flexible working solutions. We've long had our sights set on Paris, and we're delighted to finally plant our first Industrious flag in the market."

State-of-the-art workspaces

Industrious' flexible workspaces are spread over 8 floors around a glass atrium, and offer nearly 80 private, enclosed offices. This is increasingly in demand from large-scale users looking for security and confidentiality. These offices, designed to today's highest standards, can accommodate teams of all sizes, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, and can be customized in the colors of each company.

11 "Suites" of offices reinforce the Premium feel of the premises, and offer even more personalized and customizable services to companies in demand.
24 coworking spaces, 18 meeting rooms and 27 phone booths complete the offer. Each floor also features an open kitchen, relaxation areas and green terraces conducive to creativity and productivity.

The building is HQE and BREEAM Excellent certified, with a view to reducing its carbon footprint and meeting the most stringent energy performance requirements.
