In a digital world where access to information, connectivity of processes and people and the speed of transformation impact on traditional models of offices and studios, it seemed necessary to bet on more integrated and collaborative, horizontal and intergenerational formulas that facilitate all kinds of experiences and uses related to life in the work environment.
Since the time of Tiberius, greenhouses have been presented as spaces where architecture is at the service of innovation and research in production processes. In the 19th century, their large vaulted structures of glass, metal and light were also opened to the public as places for meeting and recreation.
The fusion of these concepts within one of those spaces that the city hides in its guts, an old abandoned car warehouse/workshop in the center of Oviedo, offered us the opportunity to imagine a new frame of reference for the development of our own activity, as an architecture, law and engineering firm, and together with us that of our own business.We also created a new space for other professionals, entities, groups and citizen initiatives, generating a dynamic and sustainable habitat of labor and socio-cultural interrelationships.
