Founded in 2017, the Design Spot is the design center of the University of Paris-Saclay, a cluster of world-class institutions located in the heart of a major innovation ecosystem.
The design center was conceived to accompany the thousands of students, researchers and entrepreneurs of the Paris-Saclay ecosystem and thus contribute to inventing the products and uses of the future.
The Design Spot offers awareness-raising activities as well as consulting and support services to encourage the integration of design into research and innovation projects.
Since 2018, the center has been running the Design & Science Prize, an original educational program bringing together student designers and scientists each year to develop an innovative project based on a societal theme.
